-nice, large lounge. Free beer and wine in the evening. Could have better selection for evening hors d'oeuvres. Breakfast also lacking quality and selection. Powdered eggs? ?? -professional and kind staff -lavender and currant infused chocolates for turn down service were tasty. Lots of water offered -brand new, very clean -le Labo products (but not the complimentary travel sized ones) -doorman was so nice, when we checked out he watched my children while I got my car from the garage and pulled around (tipped him well!) -parking garage a little confusing, but it’s only $15/night to self park. $45 for valet -beds super comfy -did not get an upgrade at check in (titanium) despite hotel seeming pretty empty -mentioned birthday at restaurant on site, nothing done to acknowledge

I travel quite a bit and almost always choose Marriott properties, especially the JW brand, because of what they represent in elegance, luxury, and service. During my stay at the JW Marriott in Reston, I couldn’t help but be genuinely impressed by the people I encountered. A special mention goes to Chatchaya in the Executive Lounge. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, always smiling and asking if there was anything she could help with. As I was leaving the lounge one evening, she kindly reminded me to come back for dessert. When I did, she made me feel completely at home with warm conversation and a level of comfort that travelers truly appreciate after a long day. The Executive Lounge itself was outstanding. It was very warm, beautifully decorated, and felt more like a comfortable living space than a hotel lounge, which made it a pleasure to spend time there. The next day, Chatchaya went well beyond what I expected by personally taking time to help me print some important documents, even walking to the offices to make sure it was done. Having someone in that role greeting guests and genuinely caring about their needs is something special, and it made a lasting impression on me. I’d also like to thank Zen at the front desk, who was equally welcoming and appreciative during check-in. Lastly, I have to mention the fitness center. It is without question the best hotel gym I have seen at any property, exceptionally well equipped and impressive in every way. The service and overall experience truly reflect what the JW Marriott brand stands for, and it made my stay memorable in the best way.

I have been staying at the JW Marriott Reston since the property opened in 2025, and I can confidently say this is the best JW Marriott experience I have had anywhere in the United States. A major reason for that is Chatchaya, who manages the Executive Lounge and front desk experience. Her attention to detail and commitment to personalized service are truly extraordinary and far beyond what I have encountered at any other property. For example, she noticed that I was not sleeping well during my stay, and the very next day she brought chamomile tea bags to my room to help me rest. That level of thoughtfulness and care is rare in hospitality today, and it made a lasting impression. Last evening, I was speaking with another Marriott Ambassador member, Vivek Dinghe, and his wife in the lounge, and they were equally enthusiastic about Chatchaya and the exceptional experience she consistently provides. She is an outstanding representative of this hotel and of the JW Marriott brand. This property is fortunate to have her, and I hope leadership recognizes how valuable she is to the guest experience. Highly recommended.

I spent Thanksgiving weekend with my wife and two kids at the brand new JW Marriott Reston Center, and it was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a while. Since the property is newly opened, everything—from the lobby to the rooms feels modern, fresh, and beautifully designed. The décor really stands out: warm lighting, stylish furniture, clean lines, and a layout that feels upscale without being stuffy. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. A huge highlight of my stay was the front desk team, especially Front Desk Manager Lucia Gomara. Her customer service was exceptional. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire holiday weekend. Lucia went out of her way to make sure every guest felt taken care of, and she genuinely exceeded expectations. From helping with recommendations to making sure all requests were handled quickly, her attention to detail and positive attitude really elevated the stay. The rest of the staff followed that same standard everyone was welcoming and eager to help. The gym was another standout feature. Since the hotel is brand new, the fitness center is spotless and fully equipped with the latest LifeFitness machines there is a great selection of cardio machines, free weights and even the SYNRGY 360 functional trainer machine. Whether you’re doing cardio, lifting, or stretching out after a long day, the space is bright, clean, and stocked with everything you need. It honestly feels more like a high-end fitness club than a typical hotel gym, this was a great addition to the stay. I also had the chance to enjoy the gourmet food at Simon Restaurant, we had thanksgiving dinner and went for breakfast couple of times, it was fantastic. The menu is creative and flavorful, with dishes that are beautifully presented without being over-the-top. The service was just as impressive and the staff was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about delivering a great dining experience. The vibe inside the restaurant matches the rest of the hotel: modern, cozy, and stylish. Overall, spending Thanksgiving at the JW Marriott Reston Center was a great choice. Between the new décor, exceptional service (especially from Lucia), top of the line gym, and amazing food, it’s definitely a place I’d stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area. Truly a memorable stay for me and my family.

For our corporate holiday dinner this week, 15 of us had an AMAZING experience gathering at the Schar Bar for a pre-dinner cocktail prior to being seated for dinner at cozy, private room in the Simon Restaurant. From being greeting warmly by the coat check person to being promptly seated in our reserved section near the bar, to the kind escort to our private room, the experience was that of a 5-star property! The tableware is absolutely GORGEOUS and high-end, the spacious furniture, the warm tone aesthetics, all intentionally well-coordinated. All of the details that create an OUTSTANDING guest dining experience with an ambiance that transports you to the finest restaurants without the heavy price tag. The Director of Food and Beverage, Sunny Makhni, was extremely attentive, down to the smallest details of our evening. He and our hostess, Aisha, treated the entire group like royalty. From the champagne toast to the main course, all the way through dessert, Sunny and Aisha provided us with a memorable, relaxing, enjoyable experience without missing a beat! We are grateful for such a memorable celebratory evening with colleagues. A perfect evening thanks to the fantastic care and hospitality of the JW Reston Station Schar Bar and The Simon Restaurant.
